McCarter Gallery

McCARTER  GALLERY ~ is the working studio-gallery of well-known regional artist Alan McCarter.  Located at the corner of  5th Avenue and Main Street, the gallery features Alan’s original acrylic landscape paintings specializing in the inspirational beauty of Nature in the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains.  The artist also does seascapes, cottage motifs and scenes of the Grand Tetons.

The gallery also offers limited edition giclees on canvas of his work and his wife’s, which approximate his originals as closely as possible.  The gallery also features art prints and note cards by Alan and his wife, Robbin, original antique and vintage collectible paintings and a variety of unique Nature gifts including estate sterling brooches, art glass and  signed and numbered wildlife and bird sculptures.  The style and atmosphere throughout reflect the gentle idealized romantic sense of the  beautiful in Nature.
